Clean up your Facebook and LinkedIn profiles: 92 percent of U.S. companies use social networks and social media to recruit talent, up from 78 percent five years ago, according to new research from recruitment platform Jobvite. AllFacebook reports.

Even if those numbers are inflated, the takeaway is clear: Assume that anything and everything you post online can and will be seen by your potential (or current, for that matter) employer.
