Spent much of today at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.. If you’re any kind of a news junkie, it’s a must-see when you’re in the nation’s capital. Don’t miss the bathrooms, either; the tiles are decorated with unique and silly headlines (that are culled from a book that’s available in the gift shop, of course).
I’m probably one of a handful of people who hasn’t seen The Avengers yet (I know, I know), but I’ve seen the articles talking about how the damage inflicted to New York City in the movie would, in reality, cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $160 billion. But who would pay for those repairs? The attorneys who have a blog called Law and the Multiverse (it deals with the legal ramifications of comic book stuff) have a few ideas.
