I have no idea how McSweeny’s Internet Tendency escaped my notice till now, but it has. I think you’ll agree that there’s a ton of good reading to be had there. I mean, how can you not love a site that features seven bar jokes involving grammar and punctuation?

I’m really looking forward to seeing How To Succeed In Business (Without Really Trying) on Broadway this coming Saturday. It’ll be my second time seeing it with Daniel Radcliffe and John Laroquette, and I’m glad to have gotten tickets before Radcliffe leaves the show at the end of December. Sure, his name put a lot of butts in seats, but he puts in an amazing effort. “Brotherhood of Man” blows the roof off the dump, and the video embedded here is Radcliffe and company performing that song at the Tonys earlier this year. I hate seeing ads like this, and I certainly expected more from Hammacher Schlemmer.

I’ve often been tempted by the Hammacher Schlemmer catalog. They seem to have some interesting stuff in there. But if this is typical of their products, their catalogs are headed straight into the garbage from now on.
